London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

London's biggest international airport 12 miles to the west of London.  London Heathrow Airport is the world's busiest international airport. Heathrow is also the world's second busiest cargo port. Regarded as the hub of the aviation world, over 90 airlines have made London Heathrow their base.  With 4 terminals catering for over 62 million passengers per annum travelling to over 200 destinations.  Yet London Heathrow Airport only has 2 main runways and can get congested.

Heathrow Express: Fast trains from London Heathrow Airport to London Paddington.  Expensive but it is impressive!!

London Transport: Operate the 'tube' (subway) to Central London (Piccadilly Line) from London Heathrow Airport.  Cheap and cheerful.

Public Carriage Office: Licences the famous London black cabs.  They have the 'Knowledge' of London but you pay a premium for it!

London Buses: Operate comprehensive bus network from London Heathrow Airport.  Very cheap.
